“Looking for Home” was written in mid-2014. Many of the lyrics were written at my partner’s bedside in the hospital. I was feeling a great deal of uncertainty about the future, and that comes through in the lyrics. I have to say, though, that though I’m in the lyrics, I’m not the only one.
I completed the recording and the video in August 2020, making this #4 in the Covid Isolation Series. It was fun creating an arrangement using many of the acoustic instruments at my disposal.
