Hence the rather oblique lyrics, which also reflected my conflicted feelings. It was included as the opening song on my album <em>New Heart<\/em>. It was one of the very first songs I recorded entirely on a computer rather than tape. In 2005, I had the opportunity to contribute a song to the TG [Transgender] Music Society\u2019s second compilation CD of the works of trans artists. I chose \u201cMirror World\u201d, though I added new electric guitar parts and drums. Alas, the efforts to bring the project to fruition fell apart.
