I\u2019m not sure if she realized it was about her. I enjoyed doing the little Beatlesque psychedelic freak-out at the end. When I was putting together the updated version of <em>New Heart<\/em> in 2022, I discovered that the CD on which the tracks were archived was partially unreadable, so I had to re-record the entire song from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Written in mid-1998, though too late to be included on Machine Dream.
